Privacy policy

This policy explains what information victory1atraining.com handles and why. The site is run by Victory 1A Truck Driver Training Inc., 333 Evanston Drive, Weyburn, Saskatchewan S4H 2K7. When this policy says “we”, it means Victory 1A.

What we collect

The website has no forms, no sign up and no accounts, so it doesn't ask for your name, email or phone number. If you want to talk about a course, you call us at (306) 861-8490, and anything you tell us on that call stays between you and our office.

Like every website, the server that sends you these pages sees your IP address and the page you asked for. We don't use that to identify you.

Error reporting

When a page on this site breaks, our error reporting service, Sentry, receives a report with the page address, your browser and device type and what went wrong, so the problem can be fixed. Only when something breaks, Sentry also keeps a masked replay of how the page behaved just before. In that replay every word on the page and everything you type is hidden and images are blocked, so it shows the layout and clicks and not what you read or wrote. Sentry keeps these reports for as long as its service keeps them, then deletes them.

Who handles it

Propel Digital Solutions builds and runs this website for us. The site is hosted by Vercel and error reports go to Sentry. Both store data on servers in the United States, so the small amount of information described above is processed outside Canada and is subject to the laws there. We don't sell or share it with anyone else.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, which remembers your choice in the cookie notice. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and the Google map stays off until you allow it. The cookie policy lists everything the site stores in your browser.

The Google map

Our home page can show a Google map of our location. It only loads if you allow it in the cookie notice or press “Show map”. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and the page you are on, and sets its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. The “Get directions” links open Google Maps in a new tab, where Google's policy also applies.

Your choices and questions

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For any question about privacy, or to make a request, call us at (306) 861-8490 or write to Victory 1A at 333 Evanston Drive, Weyburn, Saskatchewan S4H 2K7. If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top.
